"Target Ship" - Cape Cod Bay

"S.S. Longstreet"

Named after the Confederate general James Longstreet, she entered service in 1942, but was wrecked in a storm on October 26, 1943 and was subsequently towed to Cape Cod Bay to be used as a target ship by the United States Navy.
